We Work Together For Bettering Tomorrow

The best way to raise awareness of the environmental consequences of e-waste is to spread the information you learn about it to people in your circle. Awareness campaigns have led many people to adopt sustainable measures such as recycling.

E-Waste Recycling

What are the 5 steps of recycling?

E-waste is thrown into an enormous machine and is shredded into tiny pieces; it must first go through a process called de-manufacturing, which refers to the action of disassembling a product into components. This procedure is to remove all the potentially hazardous materials in electronic devices…

Hard Disk Degaussing

Why recycle your hard drive?

Degaussing a hard drive erases all confidential information, such as company emails, customer profiles, and financial data to prevent this sensitive data from getting in the wrong hands and becoming compromised. Your hard drive contains metals, plastics, alluminum and printed circuit board that can be recycled…

Environmental Impact

Why is the e-waste harmful?

Dumping e-waste into landfills impacts surface and groundwater because harmful chemicals leach from landfills into surface water. Furthermore, toxic by-products of improper e-waste recycling will end up in sewers and city drains. These products can contaminate surface water if they enter local waterways…

E-Waste Solutions

How can we solve the problem?

Look for certified e-waste recyclers or official collection centres. These organisations follow environmentally responsible practices in handling and disposing of e-waste. If possible, give your e-waste to government-approved dismantlers who adhere to regulations and environmentally sound practices…

Laptop, Desktop, Printer, Server, Switches, Router, Hard disc, Television, Mobiles, Mother Board, SMPS, Monitor, Camera, Fridge, Washing Machine, Oven, Cables, All electronics & Electrical E-waste.

E-waste (electronic waste) includes anything with plugs, cords and electronic components. Common sources of e-waste include televisions, computers, mobile phones and any type of home appliance, from air conditioners to children's toys.

The goal of e-waste recycling is to reduce the e-waste generated by the companies that pollute the land and air when dumped in the landfills. When recycled, they save not only the land but also the fresh metal and other resources.

Used electronics which are destined for refurbishment, reuse, resale, salvage recycling through material recovery, or disposal are also considered e-waste.

Key facts E-waste is the fastest growing solid waste stream in the world

Recycling e-waste not only prevents toxic substances from entering our bodies and into the environment, but the process also reduces the harmful environmental impacts created by the extraction and mining of virgin materials. Besides, the potential economic benefits that can be derived from this industry are enormous.

E-waste Hides Toxic Materials?

While above ground, modern electronics are safe to use and be around. However, most electronics contain some form of toxic materials, including beryllium, cadmium, mercury, and lead, which pose serious environmental risks to our soil, water, air, and wildlife, e-waste can be toxic, and accumulates in the environment, in the soil, air, water and living things, for example, open-air burning and acid baths being used to recover valuable materials from electronic components.

What is a brief note on e-waste?

E-Waste is a term used to cover items of all types of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) and its parts that have been discarded by the owner as waste without the intention of re-use, examples of electronic waste include, but not limited to: TVs, computer monitors, printers, scanners, keyboards, mice, cables, circuit boards, lamps, clocks, flashlight, calculators, phones, answering machines, digital/video cameras, radios, VCRs, DVD players, MP3, CD players, Hard disc, Cables, etc..

Is e-waste a type of pollution?

Unchecked electronic waste disposal has a cascade effect on human health, the natural environment and even the Earth's natural rhythms. Tackling e waste pollution is an essential and pressing human and environmental issue. It's no secret that humans generate all manners of waste, e-waste is a hazardous waste, and so disposing of it in landfills has the potential to cause severe risk to both human health and the environmental, to encourage the safe and responsible disposal of e-waste.

Does e-waste affect climate?

Only a small fraction of this waste is recycled in an environmentally sound manner, while a considerable portion is dumped or burned informally, thus contributing to environmental pollution and climate change, Proper disposal of waste and the promotion of water conservation ractices have resulted in a reduction in environmental pollution, particularly in urban areas. Increased social awareness, practices have also led to increased social awareness among the people of India.

How does waste affect human health?

If emissions from waste disposal continue to increase, climate will not only be negatively impacted, but human health as well. Through environmental contamination, one can develop diseases, such as asthma, birth defects, cancer, cardiovascular disease, and more, ranging from non-existing collection systems to ineffective disposal -causes air pollution, water and soil contamination. Open and unsanitary landfills contribute to contamination of drinking water and can cause infection.
